A Community Outreach Radio

Shishuvan has its own community radio! Community Radio caters to specific communities and has a small range. AsanjoRadio will cater to the school as well as, but not restricted to, the neighboring Kutchi community. Everyone with a radio within 6 - 15 km radius will be able to tune in to our frequency. The students, who range from Std 5 to 10, are enthusiastically recording programs in various formats. They are also learning sound editing, programming and managing the radio station. This is not only an excellent opportunity to learn about mass communication, but also learn the fine nuances of people interaction, handling issues responsibly and highlighting many hidden talents.
